Outdoor Facility Trends
They’re cheap, but reduce playing time, require more use of infield conditioners to keep infields playable, and, because they blow or wash away, need more infield mix to be added each year. We do not add these to our infield mixes - that is why they play and maintain so well. BEAM CLAY® supplies hundreds of sports related prod- ucts from bases and clay to wall pads and windscreen. beamclay.com.
Meet your fans’ basic needs
While other items get all the attention, athletic administrators	know that basic amenities like tables, benches, and even trash containers, can make or break the way facilities are per- ceived. Kay Park Recre- ation, a manufacturer of commercial outdoor furniture since 1954, can help make sure these items meet your fans’ demanding needs.
They offer a large selection of commercial grade site furnishings, including bleachers, grandstands, outdoor tables, grills, benches, trash containers, drinking foun- tains, planters, umbrellas, bollards, shade canopies and bike racks. They also carry outdoor athletic equipment, park and playground equipment, and even a rental-duty fiberglass pedal boat.
If flexibility and portability is key, their hydraulic folding Speedy Bleachers and Speedy Stages can be easily towed from site to site, even on highways. The Speedy Bleach- ers are available in capacities from 108 to 300 people while the Speedy Stages come in 432 to 600 square feet of space. Learn more about both at kaypark.com.

Reduce Field
Maintenance Costs
Newstripe Inc., con- tinues its dedication to continued innova- tion and reducing field maintenance	costs with the company’s latest offerings, the HashMark Master II and HaskMark Paint-and-Go. These new products can paint hash marks up to five times faster with a single operator, eliminating heavy, hard-to-handle stencils and multiple operators. HashMark Mas- ter automatically measures the inset and spacing between lines without having to string or measure and there is no cleanup beyond the usual flushing of the spray gun.
The HashMark Paint-and-Go is an economical alternative to stencils that still eliminates stringing and measuring, but requires a quick rinse of the stencil tray. More new products for 2018 will be simple bolt on cleaning tanks that allow operators to flush and clean their machines at the field to pre- vent damage from died paint resulting in expensive repairs. Newstripe also produces a complete line of walk-behind to ride-on airless paint stripers. Newstripe, Inc., is a family-owned and operated US manufacturing business. Visit the website at newstripe.com
